
Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) India made a powerful statement at EXCON 2025, unveiling a new generation of advanced machines and digital solutions designed specifically for the Indian market. With a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and sustainability, the company reaffirmed its role as a key enabler of India’s fast-expanding infrastructure and mining sectors.
Aligned with the theme “Bharosa Har Mod Par – Trust At Every Turn,” Volvo CE’s showcase highlighted its deep understanding of Indian operating conditions and customer expectations. The exhibition featured a carefully curated portfolio of machines and technologies aimed at improving productivity while supporting responsible, low-emission construction practices.
Strengthening its road construction offering, Volvo CE India introduced the SD110 Compactor, a robust machine engineered for durability, consistent performance, and long-term return on investment. A major highlight of the showcase was the launch of the L120 Electric Wheel Loader, now the most advanced electric wheel loader available for commercial applications in India. This milestone marks a significant step forward in Volvo CE’s commitment to sustainable and low-carbon construction solutions.
The company also offered an exclusive pre-launch preview of the EC650 heavy excavator, making its first appearance in India. Designed for demanding mining and large-scale infrastructure projects, the EC650 is positioned to set new benchmarks in productivity, fuel efficiency, and operator comfort in the heavy-excavation segment.
Beyond machines, Volvo CE India underscored the strength of its integrated service ecosystem. Visitors were introduced to a comprehensive suite of offerings, including Equipment-as-a-Service models, digital fleet monitoring, operator training and development platforms, productivity optimization tools, and real-time service support. Together, these solutions are designed to help customers reduce downtime, enhance fleet utilization, and achieve superior lifecycle value.
Reinforcing its long-term commitment to the country, Volvo CE also shared updates on its upcoming Technology Centre in Bengaluru. The facility will focus on research and development, localisation, and advanced engineering, positioning India as a strategic hub within Volvo CE’s global innovation network.
