Daimler India Commercial Vehicles has expanded the footprint of its BharatBenz network with the launch of two new authorised dealerships operated by Autobahn Trucking in Talegaon and Malegaon.
The move underscores BharatBenz’s continued focus on strengthening its presence across Western India, particularly in high-growth industrial and logistics corridors.
Strategic Locations to Boost Service Reach
The Talegaon dealership is strategically situated along NH48 (Mumbai–Bangalore highway), close to Pune’s key transport hubs. Meanwhile, the Malegaon facility is positioned to serve the industrial clusters of Nashik district, enhancing connectivity across major freight and logistics routes.
Together, these locations ensure seamless service coverage across Pune and Nashik regions, supporting industries such as construction, logistics, and captive fleet operations.
Large-Scale Infrastructure at Talegaon
The Talegaon dealership stands out as one of the largest commercial vehicle service facilities in Maharashtra. Key highlights include:
- Around 40,000 sq. ft. built-up area spread over 3 acres
- 16 service bays with full 3S (Sales, Service, Spares) capabilities
- Annual servicing capacity of approximately 7,200 vehicles
- Skilled workforce for end-to-end customer support
This facility is designed to provide comprehensive solutions, ensuring faster turnaround times and improved vehicle uptime.
Malegaon Facility Expands Regional Coverage
Complementing Talegaon, the Malegaon dealership strengthens BharatBenz’s presence in northern Maharashtra. It includes:
- 2 service bays
- Dedicated parts center
- Support for tanker, bulker, and agricultural vehicle segments
The facility is strategically aligned with key transport routes such as Nashik–Dhule and Agra–Indore–Mumbai corridors, ensuring efficient service accessibility.
Both dealerships are positioned to offer less than three-hour customer reach along major highways, increasing Autobahn Trucking’s network strength in Maharashtra to 19 touchpoints.

Rajiv Chaturvedi, President & Chief Business Officer at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, highlighted that Maharashtra’s rapidly growing logistics and industrial sectors require reliable vehicle availability backed by strong after-sales support. He noted that these new facilities are part of the company’s broader goal of expanding to over 450 touchpoints across India.

He added that the Talegaon facility will play a crucial role in supporting vehicles operating along the busy Mumbai–Bangalore corridor, including dedicated services for bus customers.
