In celebration of India’s 78th Independence Day, Mahindra Logistics Limited has launched its groundbreaking ‘Emissions Analytics Report,’ a digital tool designed to enhance sustainability in logistics. This innovative platform allows customers to visualize and manage their carbon emissions in real-time, facilitating efforts to decarbonize their supply chains.

The ‘Emissions Analytics Report’ focuses on transportation, providing users with comprehensive Scope 3 carbon emission data. The platform offers detailed insights into emissions intensity, tonne-kilometres, transport mode emissions, fuel consumption, and more. It operates on a subscription model, available through a user-friendly web and mobile interface.

This initiative is a key component of Mahindra Logistics’ green logistics ecosystem, which began with EDeL, a green last-mile delivery service. EDeL has since expanded to include carbon-neutral warehousing, an electric vehicle fleet for last-mile deliveries, and now, the Emissions Analytics Report. The platform, certified by the Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC) and ISO 14083, integrates seamlessly into existing systems.

The report is designed to assist companies in complying with environmental regulations such as BRSR and to support those aiming to enhance their sustainability efforts. It provides shipment-level reporting of Scope 3 emissions across various industries, including automotive, manufacturing, retail, FMCG, and more.

Rampraveen Swaminathan, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Logistics Ltd., commented on the launch, “In today’s logistics landscape, creating value extends beyond business to encompass our planet and communities. On India’s 78th Independence Day, we celebrate ‘Freedom from Emissions’ with the launch of our ‘Emissions Analytics Report.’ This tool is a significant step in our commitment to India’s Net-Zero by 2070 target, helping our customers build sustainable supply chains through a forward-thinking logistics network.”

Swayantani Ghosh, Chief Sustainability & CSR Officer at Mahindra Logistics Ltd., added, “As India’s economy grows, so does the need for robust climate action. The ‘Emissions Analytics Report’ leverages climate-focused AI to provide real-time tracking of shipment carbon footprints, emission savings analytics, and decarbonization modeling. Our goal is to support clients through every stage of their transition to net-zero, from accurate reporting to informed, low-carbon decision-making.”
