Sany India, a prominent name in construction and mining equipment, has launched the SKT105E Electric Dump Truck, the first fully electric open cast mining truck manufactured locally in India. This pioneering vehicle represents a significant leap forward in the Indian mining sector, highlighting the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. The launch event, held at Sany India’s advanced facility, saw the attendance of Vice Chairman & Managing Director Deepak Garg, along with other dignitaries and industry experts.
The SKT105E Electric Dump Truck is designed to tackle the tough demands of open-cast mining with exceptional energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness. With a substantial payload capacity of 70 tonnes, it stands out as a robust and reliable asset for mining companies. The introduction of this truck marks a new chapter in mining technology, combining local manufacturing with cutting-edge global advancements.
Deepak Garg, speaking at the launch, emphasized the truck’s role in promoting sustainable mining practices. “The SKT105E represents a historic moment for both Sany India and the Indian mining industry.
