India, May 30, 2024: Seino Holdings Co. Ltd., a leading Japanese logistics company, has announced its entry into the Indian market through a strategic partnership with Mahindra Logistics Limited. This collaboration is set to offer integrated logistics solutions, leveraging Seino’s strong ties with Japanese automotive clients and catering to their logistics needs within India.

The partnership will involve the creation of a Joint Venture (JV) between Mahindra Logistics and Seino Holdings. This JV will focus on delivering comprehensive logistics services to Japanese automotive manufacturers and key non-automotive clients. The services will include Auto Outbound, Warehousing, Transportation, and a cutting-edge technology suite. By harnessing Mahindra Logistics’ extensive network and capabilities, Seino Holdings aims to provide optimized logistics solutions across India, emphasizing technology, process innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability.

India’s automotive industry, which has seen rapid growth, has now become the third-largest in the world. With a strategic emphasis on electric vehicles and initiatives like “Make in India,” the industry is poised for continued expansion, particularly from Japan-based OEMs and auto component manufacturers.
