Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, showcased a range of advanced mass mobility solutions at Prawaas 4.0, a three-day biennial event focused on safe, smart, and sustainable transportation. The company introduced the all-new Tata Ultra EV 7M, a zero-emission intra-city electric bus designed to meet urban mass mobility needs. Tata Motors also exhibited a variety of passenger transport solutions, including the Tata Magna EV, Tata Magic Bi-fuel, Tata Ultra Prime CNG, Tata Winger 9S, Tata CityRide Prime, and Tata LPO 1822, all aimed at offering tailored solutions for diverse applications and duty cycles.

The Tata Ultra EV 7M features comfortable seating for 21 passengers and is designed to navigate narrow lanes and high-traffic urban environments with ease. Powered by a 213 kW electric motor and an IP67-rated 200 kWh Li-ion battery, the bus offers a range of up to 160 km on a single charge, with fast-charging capability that allows a full charge in just 2.5 hours. It includes advanced safety features such as an electronic braking system, electronic stability control, an Automatic Passenger Counter, and an Intelligent Transport System (ITS). Additionally, the Ultra EV 7M integrates regenerative braking technology, further improving its efficiency and range.
