Chinese automotive manufacturer Chery Auto will showcase nearly 20 cutting-edge sustainable innovations at its upcoming 2026 Chery International User Summit.
Scheduled from October 18 to 24 at the company’s global headquarters in Wuhu, China, the summit centers on technological convergence, low-carbon mobility, and intelligent living. The weeklong event brings together international ecosystem partners, media delegates, and vehicle owners from across the globe.
The strategic showcase arrives amid rapid commercial expansion for the brand’s electrified portfolio. Between January and August 2026, Chery Group delivered 725,214 new energy vehicles (NEVs)—representing a 46.2% year-on-year surge.
Next-Gen Powertrains and Battery Innovations
Chery’s upcoming showcase underscores aggressive internal research and development across hybrid and pure electric architectures.
Among the primary highlights is Chery’s proprietary hybrid powertrain, which has achieved an industry-leading thermal efficiency rating of 48.57%.
Concurrently, the carmaker is accelerating the commercialization of all-solid-state battery cells. These advanced energy packs target an energy density of 400 Wh/kg, promising substantial gains in driving range, thermal stability, and cold-weather performance compared to standard lithium-ion packs.
Circular Lifecycle and V2G Ecosystems
Beyond individual vehicle components, Chery is focusing on total lifecycle decarbonization. The OEM’s sustainability roadmap spans vehicle design, smart manufacturing, and closed-loop material reclamation.
Key initiatives featured at the summit include:
- Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) Integration: Turning electric vehicles into bidirectional energy storage nodes for smart power grids.
- Intelligent Charging Networks: Smart charging infrastructure optimized for real-time load management.
- Battery Second-Life & Material Reuse: Establishing closed circular pipelines for precious cathode minerals and end-of-life battery recycling.
Expanding Horizons: AI Cockpits and Robotics
Chery is also leveraging automotive software development to pioneer broader embodied intelligence.
The automaker has already deployed over 3,000 units of its proprietary AiMOGA humanoid robots across more than 60 international markets. These robots currently serve in over 100 operational use cases, ranging from automated factory floors to commercial hospitality and domestic settings.
At the summit, Chery will demonstrate next-generation AI digital cockpits, intelligent human-machine interfaces (HMI), and collaborative robotic systems designed to merge smart computing with sustainable transport.
Alongside the technical exhibitions, the summit will host the Ride Green Life global charity initiative, partnering with international bodies such as the IUCN and UNICEF to advance environmental education and localized conservation programs.
