Scania Appoints Do Young Kim as CFO and Member of Executive Board

Scania Group has announced the appointment of Do Young Kim as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a member of the Executive Board, effective 1 February 2025. He will report directly to Christian Levin, CEO of Scania and TRATON Group.

    • Do Young Kim brings a strong track record of leadership, with previous roles as CFO for International (formerly Navistar), where he spearheaded the IPO readiness and execution for TRATON Group and its acquisition of International.
    • He also led TRATON Group’s Treasury Department and held CFO roles for prominent joint ventures, including Beijing Benz Automotive, Fujian Benz Automotive, and Mercedes-Benz Korea.
  2. Education and Leadership Style:
    • A graduate of Yonsei University, South Korea, with a degree in Business Administration and Management.
    • Recognized for his holistic approach to performance, his inclusive leadership, and his ability to foster shared values and culture within global organizations.
