Dhoot Transmission Limited has announced a strategic partnership with Israel-based RideVision to introduce Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) tailored for Indian road conditions. The collaboration marks Dhoot Transmission’s entry into the intelligent mobility and automotive safety technology segment, reinforcing its focus on next-generation vehicle solutions.

The partnership aims to bring globally established ADAS technologies to the Indian market while adapting them to local traffic patterns, road infrastructure, and operational requirements. Both companies believe that localized safety solutions will play a key role in improving road safety and accelerating the adoption of intelligent mobility technologies across the country.

For Dhoot Transmission, the alliance represents a significant expansion beyond its traditional electronics and wiring harness business. The company sees advanced safety technologies as an important component of the future mobility ecosystem, particularly as vehicle manufacturers increasingly integrate connected and intelligent systems into their product portfolios.

Commenting on the development, Naveen Kumar, CEO – India (Wiring Harness and Electronics), Dhoot Transmission, said the partnership aligns with the company’s long-term vision of delivering safer and smarter mobility solutions.

“We believe this is the right time to bring intelligent safety technologies to India. Our partnership with RideVision combines global ADAS expertise with our deep understanding of the Indian market to develop solutions specifically engineered for Indian road and operating conditions. Together, we aim to make mobility in India safer, smarter, and future-ready,” he said.

RideVision, known for its focus on advanced road safety technologies, considers India a high-potential market for intelligent vehicle safety systems. The company believes that adapting ADAS solutions to local requirements can help extend the benefits of advanced safety technologies beyond premium vehicles and into a broader range of mobility applications.

Uri Lavi, Founder and CEO of RideVision, highlighted the growing importance of smart mobility solutions in enhancing road safety outcomes.

“India stands at the precipice of a fascinating new era of smart mobility — one that will have a profound, measurable impact on saving lives every single day. By localizing this cutting-edge technology, we aim to democratize life-saving safety solutions for all,” he said.

According to the companies, the collaboration will focus on three strategic pillars: technology localization, integration with existing vehicle platforms, and the development of intelligent safety solutions designed specifically for Indian operating environments.

The partners expect the initiative to address challenges unique to Indian roads, where traffic density, mixed vehicle usage, and diverse driving conditions often differ significantly from global markets where many ADAS systems were initially developed.

In addition to its focus on automotive safety technologies, Dhoot Transmission has been strengthening its electronics business through strategic expansion initiatives. Recently, its subsidiary, Dhoot Automotive Systems Private Limited, entered into a business transfer agreement with Bengaluru-based Multilink. The move is expected to enhance the group’s electronics capabilities and support its growth ambitions in advanced automotive technologies.

With vehicle safety, connectivity, and intelligent mobility becoming increasingly important across the automotive industry, the partnership positions Dhoot Transmission to participate in the growing demand for ADAS and smart vehicle technologies in India.
